in 2018 we opened our doors to surf lovers from around the world. ever since then we have given our guests the full surf experience, full of adventure and food for the soul – hence “surf soul adventure”.
what make us happy the most is seeing our guests screaming with joy when surfing the waves, and screaming of surprise when seeing the famous goats in the trees. which is why we have always called our guests “our lovely salty goats”: just like the goats are never too afraid to bravely climb up spiky argan trees to reach another delicious fruit, our guests are never too tired to catch another wave, never too scared to smash their own limits!
when the pandemic hit, so many of our lovely guests reached out to us, telling us again how much they loved their surf home in morocco and how much they were already looking forward to our come back after this most difficult period. that touched us so much and we promised with all our heart – inspired by our guests, and just like the goats – that we would not only survive this crisis, but thrive and make it an even better home for you! there was only one way forward for us and that was to put the name of our lovely guests on the door: SALTY GOATS!

ON SITE RULES
here are a few important site rules to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment:
- RESPECT OUR EQUIPMENT: on your first surf day, you will be provided with a wetsuit and surfboard. we ask that you treat these items with care and respect. they are crucial for your surfing experience, as well as for the enjoyment of future guests. avoid any intentional damage to the equipment!
- LEAVE THE SAND AT THE BEACH: to ensure a clean and comfortable environment, avoid entering the car and house with sandy feet! we have designated areas for rinsing off sand before entering indoor spaces.
- RESPECT OTHERS: be considerate of others. our surf camp is a diverse community of individuals who share a passion for surfing. we encourage mutual respect and kindness towards fellow surfers and camp staff.
- NOISE: please be mindful of noise levels, especially during quiet hours (rooftop: 22.30!), to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for all.
- NO SMOKING AREA: smoking is strictly prohibited inside the entire house (including balconies & riad); smoking (cigarettes only!) is permitted on the rooftop terrace.
- CHECK OUT / ROOM CHANGE: please check out of your room by 11 am (same applies to room changes: your new room will be ready when you come back from surfing)
- STAY MINDFUL: while enjoying your time at our surf camp, we kindly ask that you remain present and attentive. take care of yourself and stay engaged throughout your stay.
- SAFE POWER turn off lights & unplug chargers.
- ROOM CLEANING if you wish your room to be cleaned, hang the small wooden sign “please clean my room” on your room door (outside) and we will be very happy to take care of it.
- TOILET do not throw feminine hygiene products or trash in the toilet (toilet paper is ok though).
- USE WATER WISELY we are located in an area with very little water, please do not waste water – every drop counts.
- NO SMOKING AREA smoking is strictly prohibited inside the entire house (including balconies & riad); smoking (cigarettes) is only permitted on the rooftop terrace.
- SHARING IS CARING take care, be kind, be considerate of other people

UPGRADES & EXTRA
upgrades and extras have to be paid in cash (€ or MAD) upon check out. credit card payment, paypal, bank transfer etc is not available.
for low season bed&breakfast stays only: join us for a surf session (40€ pp.)
join us for a surf session on your arrival and / or departure day: 25€ (instead of 40€)
drop in class (10€/h pp.) or private class (25€/h pp.)
on the way back from imsouane (10€ pp.) or as a 1/2 day excursion (25€ pp.; min. 4 people)

please note that we add the extra to the booking of the person who requested the service. important: it is your responsibility to coordinate with the other guests who have joined you to split the cost of this additional service. ensure the payment is settled amongst the group before the end of your stay

please don’t take our towels to the beach, rent a beach bag & specific beach towels from us instead (8€)
you are fully responsible for your wetsuit and surfboard during your stay. thank you for signing our surf equipment insurance (20€ / week pp.) to cover your wetsuit, surfboard, leash.
rent a performance board on site for 8€ / day (no private use, only with our surf camp)
WHERE TO EAT
petit cava (typical moroccan food €), let’s be (beautiful bowls and vegan meals €€), chez brahim (fish dishes right next to the ocean €)
best coffee in town: hey yallah (5 min walk, €€) and daydream (10 min walk, €€)
le spot (pizza, pasta, fish and tajines €), café berbère (perfect for a tea & bonfire with ocean view €€), dfrost sea side (sunday evening live music, wine and beer €€€), munga guest house (pizza and fancy bar €€€)
fyi: there is no atm in taghazout
HOW TO GET TO
if included in your package: we’ll drop you at the airport (leaving our surf house 3h before your flight departures) or bus station (leaving our surf house 1-1.5h before your bus departures, depending on traffic).
if not included in your package: we’re happy to call you a taxi (airport: 30€ per taxi; bus station: 20€ per taxi).

please note that you can only withdraw max 2000dh (~200€) per transaction.

option 1: we call a private taxi for you that will pick you up from the surf camp and will bring you to the centre of taghazout (private taxi with pick up at the surf camp and drop of in taghazout centre 17€)

option 2: walk down to the main road and take one of the “collective taxis” that drive aourir – tamraght – taghazout – tamraght – aourir and work like little shuttle buses (tipp: walk to babakoul, order a refreshing juice while waiting for the taxi).
option 3: walk down to the beach (head towards devils rock) and walk along the beach to taghazout. it takes about 1h -1.5h and is extra beautiful during sunset!
souk to surf: book your shuttle ticket 1-2 days in advance. choose “blue waves tamraght” as pick up location (5min walk from our surf house).
bus: book your ctm / supratours ticket online 2 days in advance. we will drop you at the bus station in agadir.

private taxi: 1 way (120€ per taxi) or day trip (160€ per taxi)
by bus: we recommend 2 bus companies: www.supratours.ma and www.ctm.ma. they offer connections nearly every hour. the bus ride takes 3-4 hours and costs between 120 and 200 dirham (10-18€).
by taxi: the easiest and fastest way from tamraght to marrakech is by taxi. the prices for this 2,5 hour ride are around 130€. we are happy to book a taxi for you and make sure that you arrive safely.

GOOD TO KNOW
a salon is located in tamraght (next to hey yallah), drop your laundry after surfing and pick it up the next day
e-tickets are not available in morocco. please check your ticket to find out if you need to bring a printed version or if you get a boarding pass at the airport. we are happy to print your ticket (2€ per page).
CHECK IN / OUT
- your room will be ready at 4 pm
- please fill out the form provided during check in and pay the remaining amount in cash (€ or MAD)
- arrival day: dinner included (additional services can be booked)
- pleaes check out of your room at 11 am
- breakfast is included (additional services can be booked)
- please leave the keys in the door of your room
- if you have rented beach towels: please bring them to the reception

- we take care of your transfer to the airport or bus station
